Michigan is a hotbed for great football and nowhere is that clearer than 7-0 Belleville High School. Led by junior quarterback Bryce Underwood–the top ranked player in the class of 2025–the team has risen to being ranked the 26th best in the country by MaxPreps. They continued to show why they’re deserving of the ranking, picking up a 63-0 win over Wayne Memorial on October 6th. Underwood threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns on the night. The team next heads to Dearborn on Saturday, October 14th for a game against the 5-2 Fordson Tractors.
In other Michigan top 25 action from around the region, 16th ranked Lumen Christi Catholic and 21st ranked Northville both won to move to 7-0. Neither game was particularly close, with Lumen Christi Catholic beating St. Francis 35-0 and Northville defeating Hartland 55-8.
